BIPP SERVICES

Safer Path Family Violence Shelter BIPP holds Full Accreditation through the TDCJ-CJAD Accreditation Process #007-001

Batterer’s Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) is designed to help men who choose to use violence in intimate relationships learn to become accountable for their choices and ultimately end abusive behavior. Battering involves the use of various tactics to control and restrict the victim’s life. BIPP groups will focus on primary tactics used by batterers such as physical and sexual violence, emotional and economic abuse, the use of male privilege, using children against the victim, use of intimidation and isolation, denying, minimizing, and blaming the abuse on the victim. This type of intervention can help them break the cycle of abuse.
